Meat Lovers Pizza Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
    1 pound beef sausage
    1 cup chopped pepperoni
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    4 teaspoons Italian seasoning, divided
    1 jar (26 oz) tomato-basil pasta sauce
    Shredded mozzarella Cheese 2 cups cheese
    1 can chilled pizza dough
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425°F. Lightly spray a 9-by-13-inch pot with cooking spray.
In a large skillet, fry ground beef and beef sausage over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain well and return to the pot.

Add the chopped pepperoni, all-purpose flour, and 3 teaspoons Italian seasoning to the pot and stir until well combined.
Add tomato basil pasta sauce and mix. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Remove from heat and pour mixture into prepared saucepan.
Sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese.
Roll out the pizza dough and place it on top of the mozzarella cheese. Brush dough with olive oil and sprinkle with remaining 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
