Ingredients:

• 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

• 12 asparagus spears (trimmed)

• 4 slices of mozzarella or provolone cheese (optional)

• 1 teaspoon garlic powder

• 1 teaspoon paprika

• Salt and black pepper to taste

• 2 tablespoons olive oil

• Toothpicks or kitchen string

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Chicken:

• Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

• Butterfly the chicken breasts by slicing them horizontally without cutting all the way through. Open them flat.

• Season both sides with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

2. Stuff the Chicken:

• Lay 3 asparagus spears in the center of each chicken breast.

• Add a slice of cheese on top of the asparagus (optional for extra creaminess).

• Fold the chicken breast over the filling and secure with toothpicks or kitchen string.

3. Sear for Flavor:

• Heat olive oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium heat.

• Sear the stuffed chicken breasts for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

4. Bake to Perfection:

• Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.

• Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Serving Suggestions:

• Serve with a side of mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh garden salad.

• Garnish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze or sprinkle of fresh parsley for added flavor.

This dish combines the tenderness of chicken with the crunch of asparagus, offering a balance of taste and nutrition. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions!
