Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of French bread or Italian bread, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for a slight kick)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Marinara sauce for dipping (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
- Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Coat Bread Pieces: Place the bread pieces in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the garlic butter mixture over the bread, tossing gently to coat all pieces evenly.
- Add Cheese: Spread the buttered bread pieces in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over each piece, then top with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
