The intoxicating scent of freshly made bread, my friends, is the one surefire way to get everyone in the family smiling and ready to eat. What about when the bread is topped with melted cheese and garlic? Here’s a side dish that may be the show-stopper. The simple combination of bread and cheese gave rise to the timeless classic of Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks. It goes well with everything, or you may eat it on its own to fulfill your savory desires. It’s homey, decadent, and perfect for gathering around the table with everyone from those with the smallest appetites to those with the largest.
These cheesy garlic breadsticks can be paired with a wide variety of dishes. Pizza dough (homemade or store-bought, 1 pound)
1/2 cup melted unsalted butter 3 minced garlic cloves
One teaspoon of Italian seasoning
half a teaspoon of garlic powder
one-fourth teaspoon of salt

How to Follow
1. Bring the oven temperature up to 375°F, or 190°C. Parchment paper or a silicone baking mat can be used to line a baking pan and avoid sticking.
2. In a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle that is approximately 1/2 inch thick. Preheat a baking sheet and transfer the mixture to it.
3. Melt the butter in a small bowl and combine the minced garlic with the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. Spread a thick layer of this delicious mixture across your dough.
4. Evenly top the greased dough with the shredded mozzarella and parmesan. It’s all about that cheesiness, so don’t be bashful!
5. Coat in the preheated oven for about fifteen to twenty minutes, or until the cheese begins to bubble and the edges take on a lovely golden hue.
6. After a little cooling, use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to divide the dough into breadstick sections.
7. If you want garnishes, a small amount of chopped parsley may be sprinkled on top just before serving to provide color and a fresh flavor.
